Jacks’ Station Bar is a traditional pub steeped in history, originally The Coastguard Station – this historic building was owned by the late Jack Sugrue, who opened its doors as a public bar on the 8th December 1961 and still to this day retains his name fondly. Since then Jacks’ has gone from strength to strength as a traditional Irish pub and award winning seafood restaurant now owned and managed by Brian and Grainne Keary since 2006.

A Sunday session in Jacks’ is a must!
From mid March to September, live traditional music kicks off on Sunday evenings. Get stuck into a post GAA match analysis, a game of darts or if you’re lucky, a sing song with the locals in our traditional Irish pub to the front of the restaurant.
If you get a bit peckish, you can always enjoy a bowl of our famous seafood chowder or whatever else takes your fancy on our menu.
