We were very fortunate to hold my daughters wedding reception at Jack’s last Saturday.
The whole experience was amazing. Brian and his team provided superb service from the moment we arrived late afternoon until the early hours when everyone left. The food was simply delicious, all served piping hot by a very attentive team of staff. The bar staff were extremely efficient.
A truly wonderful restaurant, fantastic staff in a spectacular setting…..it doesn’t come much better than this!!!!
Recently attended a wedding at jacks. Probably the best I’ve ever been to. The whole set up was 1st class. The food, staff, service and surroundings were faultless. Special credit to the waiting staff who were mainly young but so attentive and enthusiastic. Always a pleasure to hear Jonnie on the ivories. Well done Jacks!
Visited Jack’s on the occasion of my brothers wedding and I can honestly say it is one of the best meals I have had (and I am very discerning). I had heard all the reviews so arrived with quite high expectations which I honestly expected would not be matched. How wrong I was. It would have been very easy and probably excusable (being a wedding) to drop the standard slightly and lash out 130 meals of reasonable quality but it seems the staff at Jack’s just don’t operate that way. Every guest raved about their meal (in particular the pear and blue cheese salad).
The setting is obviously stunning but the ambiance created by the staff is what makes the difference from the piano playing to the attentive and friendly service the whole experience was a delight. No request was to much for Brian and Pauline’s enthusiasm and attention to detail made a special day unforgettable, hats off guys……
Whether you visit for a meal or wedding I cannot recommend this venue enough.
Attended a wedding here and have to say that everything was spot on – the black sole was simply fantastic and the service could not be bettered. Love it , love it , love it !
Recently attended a wedding reception in Jacks. What a great choice both in terms of location and food choice. We were blessed with the weather which allowed the pre dinner reception to be held outdoors overlooking the magnificent sea scape. Delicious starters including prawn salad & chowder were followed by sublime black sole on the bone and delicious fillet steaks. Service was excellent both from the wait staff and in the bar.
I have been to many weddings at this stage and the most recent was at Jack’s Coastguard Restaurant. It was hands down the best food I have ever had at a wedding and more than that its one of the finest restaurants I have ever eaten at.
