Here’s some really easy recipes to make with the little people this Easter! Easy, tasty and lots of fun. 

1 – Rice Krispie Easter Eggs!

Try a Whute (15)


  • 3 Tablespoons of Butter or Margarine
  • Large Bag of Marshmallows
  • Rice Krispies
  • Food Colouring

How To Make:

  • Get a large saucepan, melt the butter and add Marshmallows. Stir until smooth and remove from heat
  • Add Rice Krispies to the Marshmallow mix and stir evenly till Krispies are coated. If you want to make different colours now’s the time to add some food colouring.
  • Use egg shapers or simply use your hands to make the egg shape and dip in sprinkles if you like!
  • Sit for a few hours until firm and enjoy!

2. Easter Egg Nests!

Try a Whute (16)


  • Butter or Margarine
  • Plain Chocolate
  • Cornflakes
  • Golden Syrup
  • Mini Chocolate Eggs

How To Make:

  • Grab a cupcake tin and fill it with paper cases.
  • Melt the Chocolate, golden syrup and butter in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water and stir until smooth.
  • Remove the bowl from over the saucepan and stir in the cornflakes until fully coated.
  • Pop the mixture into the paper cases and put 3 chocolate eggs into the middle of each.
  • Refrigerate for one hour until set and enjoy!

3. Oreo Egg Truffles!

Try a Whute (17)


  • Packet of Oreos
  • Cream Cheese
  • Sprinkles
  • Icing
  • Toothpicks

How To Make:

  • Pop the Oreos into the blender and mix to a powder and mix in the cream cheese
  • Roll the mix into little balls, pop them in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  • The fun bit is decoration – dip in icing and add sprinkles or add some marshmallow bunny ears!
